ELIZABETH  R.  JOSLIN  was born in Kentucky, July 26, 1836, departed this life Jan. 19, 1914, aged 77 years, 9 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage to Wm. A. Cox  March 11, 1856.  To this union were born ten children, six of whom survive, the rest having preceded her into the great beyond.  The children are:  Mrs. George Keller,  Mrs. Daniel Keller,  Mrs. Perry Massey,  Mrs. Ed Jones, of Montezuma,  Thomas A. Cox, of near Ferndale, and John W. Cox of Mecca, Ind. She united with the M. E. church early  in life, and was a faithful member of that church until she moved to Rockville, where she changed her membership to the U. B. church, ever after living faithful to her creed.

Besides the six children, the deceased leaves to mourn her departure, a number of grandchildren and a large circle of friends. Funeral services were conducted from the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Keller, Tuesday at 3 o’clock by Rev. B. F. Clifton.  On Wednesday the remains were taken to the Thomas cemetery near Hollandsburg, Ind., for burial. – thanks so much to “S”
